| Al-Baqara [2:187] | It is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of As-Saum (the fasts). They are Lîbas [i.e. body cover, or screen, or Sakan, (i.e. you enjoy the pleasure of living with them - as in Verse 7:189) Tafsir At-Tabarî], for you and you are the same for them. Allâh knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you (accepted your repentance) and forgave you. So now have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allâh has ordained for you (offspring), and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your Saum (fast) till the nightfall. And do not have sexual relations with them (your wives) while you are in I'tikâf (i.e. confining oneself in a mosque for prayers and invocations leaving the worldly activities) in the mosques. These are the limits (set) by Allâh, so approach them not. Thus does Allâh make clear His Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelations, verses, laws, legal and illegal things Allahs set limits orders.) to mankind that they may become Al- Muttaqun. | | Aal-e-Imran [3:106] | On the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black; as for those whose faces will become black (to them will be said): "Did you reject Faith after accepting it? Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith." | | Aal-e-Imran [3:107] | And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allâh's Mercy (Paradise), therein they shall dwell forever. | | Al-Araf [7:46] | And between them will be a (barrier) screen and on Al-A'râf (a wall with elevated places) will be men (whose good and evil deeds would be equal in scale), who would recognise all (of the Paradise and Hell people), by their marks (the dwellers of Paradise by their white faces and the dwellers of Hell by their black faces), they will call out to the dwellers of Paradise, "Salâmun 'Alaikûm" (peace be on you), and at that time they (men on Al-A'râf) will not yet have entered it (Paradise), but they will hope to enter (it) with certainty. | | Al-Araf [7:108] | And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white (with radiance) for the beholders | | Ar-Rad [13:3] | And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnaîn (two in pairs - may mean two kinds or it may mean: of two varities, e.g. black and white, sweet and sour, small and big) He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) for people who reflect. | | Taha [20:22] | "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign,— | | Ash-Shuara [26:33] | And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! | | An-Naml [27:12] | "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people, verily they are a people who are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh). | | Al-Qasas [28:32] | "Put your hand in your bosom, it will come forth white without a disease, and draw your hand close to your side to be free from fear (which you suffered from the snake, and also your hand will return to its original state). these are two Burhâns (signs, miracles, evidences, proofs) from your Lord to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs. Verily, they are the people who are Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh). | | Fatir [35:27] | See you not that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and We produce therewith fruits of varying colours, and among the mountains are streaks white and red, of varying colours and (others) very black | | As-Saaffat [37:46] | white, delicious to the drinkers, | | Al-Rahman [55:39] | So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinni as to his sin, [because they have already been known from their faces either white (dwellers of Paradise - true believers of Islamic Monotheism) or black (dwellers of Hell - polytheists; disbelievers, criminals)]. |
