Al-Baqara [2:51]	And remember We appointed forty nights for moses and in his absence you took the calf (for worship) and ye did grievous wrong.
Al-Baqara [2:53]	And remember We gave moses the Scripture and the criterion (between right and wrong) there was a chance for you to be guided aright.

He said: "will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the signs of Allah and slaying His messengers without just cause. This because They rebelled and went on transgressing.
Al-Baqara [2:67]	And remember moses said to his people: "Allah commands that ye sacrifice a heifer." They said: "Makest thou a laughing-stock of us?" He said: "Allah save me from being an ignorant (fool)!"
Al-Baqara [2:87]	We gave moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not ye, are puffed up with pride? ―Some ye called impostors and others ye slay!
Al-Baqara [2:92]	There came to you moses with clear (Signs); yet ye worshipped the Calf (even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully.
Al-Baqara [2:108]	Would ye question your Massenger as moses was questioned of old? But whoever changeth from Faith to unbelief, hath strayed without doubt from the even way.
