Why don't you list product names and company names in the Halal listings?

Our Halal Food Guide service strictly lists Ingredients and E-Codes (Emulsifiers) and refrains from mentioning and naming particular products.

The reasons are obvious: Ingredients/E-Codes hardly ever change nor do their Halal/Haram status changes (unless their source is changed). Products on the other hand can be Halal in one country whilst Haram in another. Moreover, different products are available in different countries from the same producer.

Products also can at times use Halal ingredients and suddenly one day switch to Haram. For this reason we prefer you always read the ingredient list at the back of the product you wish to consume. Do not rely on the products reputition as companies may replace one e-code for another without warning.
