The software says it will expire in a few months. What is this expiry? I am a pro user, does this mean it will be valid for only a few months!?

These softwares are subscription based softwares, which means that membership needs to be renewed after some period of time in order for the software to run.

The expiry date is only there to give room for future FREE updates/upgrades that you will be able to download without any extra charge. The membership itself never expires. You pay once and you keep getting free updates. In this period the software does expire every years to ensure that you get the latest copy which has many bug-fixes or improvements.
