Scrolling the surah in uQuran is really slow

uQuran is targeted at the high-end mobile phones that have been released recently, more specifically ones that have considerable CPU power.

If your phone allows you to do internet browsing, watch videos online, has a lot of internal space and a large/high-resolution screen (or have a touch screen), then uQuran is ideal for you. If it's however running slow or is sluggish in performance when you start to scroll down/up on the Surah screen, then unfortunately uQuran isn't meant to run that well on your phone. There is however an exception to this rule: some touch based mobiles (like the Nokia N97) still have sluggish performance due to the fact that their CPU isn't as fast as it should.

uQuran requires considerable CPU power (as it renders the Qur'anic text dynamically and offers smooth scrolling views). There's nothing that can be done about its sluggishness on slower running phones as there just isn't enough CPU to drive the application, eventhough uQuran has been highly optimized for faster performance.

Having said that, newer and faster/better mobile phones will continue to come out every few months as there's now a lot of competition between manufacturers. InshAllah expect uQuran to perform better with time.
