I need to search the Quran for some words but don't know if those words would appear in a single Ayah

That's not a problem. Alhamdulillah we're proud to have developed the most advanced and flexible Quran search engine, which serves this very purpose.

Many times you want to search for a few words but are not sure if these words appear together, or even in a single Ayah at one time. You're sure you know one or two of the words you're entering do appear somewhere in the Quran but not sure in what order.

Using the online search engine we've developed for Quran, by the way with which you can search in Arabic, English or any other language we support, type in as many words as you think either describe your search or you'd like to research on. For example: forgive never fire forever forbidden

Not so surprisingly, this phrase will not yield any results. However, instantly you'll see a 'Search Suggestions' tab appear on the page. The Search Results tab itself only displays results where the whole phrase appears in an ayah or verse. Since our example has words that can't conceivably appear in single verse, we've done the hard work behind the scene for you and give you further Search Suggestions.

Click on the 'Search Suggestions' tab to reveal a list of different word/phrase combinations for searched words. Even singular words are listed. Across the page you see how many verses matched for that particular combination. This saves you a LOT of time searching for each one of the different combinations yourself when you have no clue to begin with (and that's why you wanted to use the search engine in the first palce!).

Clicking on the verses link will take you back to the search results page with all relavant verses listed. Job done.
