How does Groups sync with Google Contacts?

Groups does not sync with any external or third party service. It completely and solely relies on sync methods provided by iTunes or Mobile Me.

Since Groups always stays in sync with the Contacts/Phone app on the iPhone, you are always shown the most up to date view of the address book. If you wish to sync with Google or Outlook or any 3rd party service or software, you need to set that up with iTunes on your PC/Mac. For example, iTunes can sync with Google Contacts. If you set it up in iTunes, your iPhone and thus Groups will automatically sync with Google.

If you have Mobile Me setup on your iPhone, Groups automatically then syncs with Mobile Me.

Can we have more themes in Groups? How about a different colored background?
