Can groups be made to start any faster?

We are currently working on v1.2 (if it's not already out) that will aim at loading slightly faster than before. There's little we can do about speed when it comes to Groups but on average Groups will load 2 to 3 seconds faster than it currently does. We've had to re-write most of the code to make this happen and is far from trivial.

With v1.2, Groups will perhaps be one of the fastest, if not the fastest, 'Groups' related app on the App Store!

How about synchronizing Groups with Faces to fill the gap?
