How to upload a Video:

  • Create an account on Guided Videos by Signing up here
  • Complete the email validation step by clicking on the link you have via email.
  • Login to your account and click 'Upload'
  • You have two options:
    • Upload a video saved on your PC
      OR
    • Import a video from another websites (such as Youtube or Google Videos)

1- Upload a video saved on your PC

  1. Uploading a vide can take between 1-5 minutes per MB, depending on your connection, so be patient. After uploading has completed, the video is then converted to the desired format, which too takes a few minutes.
Videos are limited to 100 MB.
  2. You can upload a wide range of video formats, such as: WMV, QuickTime, DIVX, MPEG-4, GPP, MP4, FLV, AVI, RM, WAV, to name a few. The smaller size and the shortest movies are faster to upload. Videos saved with the following settings convert the best:
    MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format, 320x240 resolution (30 frames/sec), MP3 audio
  3. During upload, you are required to enter one or more tags associated with the video, separated by spaces. Tags are keywords used to describe your video so that they're easily searchable by other users. For example, if you have uploaded an Islamic lecture, you might tag it as: Islamic lecture speaker.
  4. After the upload process completes, you wait for it to be moderated before you're able to edit it or view it.

2- Import video from another website (such as Youtube or Google Videos)

  1. This usually takes less than 2 minutes.
  2. During upload, you are required to enter one or more tags associated with the video, separated by spaces. Tags are keywords used to describe your video so that they're easily searchable by other users. For example, if you have uploaded an Islamic lecture, you might tag it as: Islamic lecture speaker.
