Athan not playing in Prayer Times for mobiles on my mobile |

Please start Prayer Times and then click on Menu and go into "Settings->Athan Settings" and make sure they are all set to Athan. Then go into "Settings->Volume Settings" and see if you hear the Athan on that screen. If you don't, please go into Athan Settings again and switch all prayer alert types to Alarm tone and again check in Volume Settings if you hear Alarm tones. If you can hear the Athan on the Volume Setting screen then the athan is supported by your phone and should work. Some times if your mobile supports different profiles, this can cause problems in case the profile has sound switched off or some other setting is not set properly. In such case, please go onto the default profile (which is normally General in Nokia mobiles) and make sure you have 'Warning Tones' switched ON and see if you can head athan now. Also ensure no other application is running in the background which has possibly held a lock on the phone's sound drivers internally.
Also try shutting off the phone and starting it up again after making the above changes and see if sound works by going into "Settings->Volume Settings" again. In case you still cannot hear athan, your mobile may not be able to support the included Athan format. We have tested most of the Nokia and Motorola models, such as 6680, 6230i, N70, N73, N80, Nokia 9300, Nokia 9300i, Nokia 9500, Motorola L6/L7, Motorola V3 etc. If sound is not working for these phones, this most probably has something to do with the mobile's internal sound settings.
