iPray/iQuran have stopped working properly, please help!

If you have iPray installed and for some reason you can't save any settings any more or are having activation problems where it says your copy is activated but then when you restart, it asks you to activate again, the please follow steps below to fix this.

Before you do the following, Please Read other FAQs on iQuran not showing Arabic. REMOVE "MOBILE FINDER.APP" if you have installed it. It's broken and breaks other apps.

If you have iQuran installed and everything was working fine until suddenly you can't download/view or hear anything, try the following. In both these cases normally the PLIST Settings file at times isn't saved correctly by the system and so future changes don't take affect.

Please do the following:

1. Start Installer.app
2. Goto Sources, press Edit, then Add and enter: http://guidedways.com/iphone
3. Press OK and DONE
4. Goto Install. In the list you should see * Guided Ways *
5. Select the iPray Repair or iQuran Repair package from there.

Note: If you already have the source added to Installer, you will need to press Refresh on the Sources screen in Installer to get the updates refreshed.

If the problem persists after doing the above (especially for iQuran), please try the iQuran Permission Fix package from the same source and see if it disappears. In other cases, contact us inshAllah.

iQuran Users, PLEASE READ:
After you install the iQuran Repair package above, your Activation will be lost and iQuran will show that all downloaded surahs (for reciters other than Husary) are lost. However that is not the case. Simply Activate your copy again (for free) from the Buy Now screen and then install the extra reciters from the 'Select Reciters' list from Surah View. Once you add the new Reciters, go back to Index and you will see your previously downloaded files. You will NOT have to download the audio files again.

You may however need to download the Translation files again (which is downloaded only once).
